The Magical resort of LuostoLying some 90 minutes north of Rovaniemi one finds the ski resort of Luosto, comprising of a hotel, a small cluster of beautiful log cabins, nestling amongst the fir trees, adjacent to a slalom ski slope and an attractive log cabin restaurant. One can truly imagine this to be close to the home of the real Santa Claus.Itinerary: Day 1: Flying from your chosen airport to Lapland, on arrival we'll transfer to our destination, the enchanting resort of Luosto. Check into your accommodation and then enjoy some simple snow games before feasting on a welcome dinner. Day 2: It's time for our adventures to begin as we search for Santa. As we push the boundries of our imagination, the loyal huskies and reindeer will be our guides, forging their way throught the snowy plains. Perhaps, Snowy Bowy & Speedy Sam may know where Santa is Today? Lunch will be provided before we resume our activities. This evening, enjoy a performance from our entertainers prior to dinner. Day 3: Today is the perfect time to enjoy the facilities offered in resort as we relax amidst the peace and tranquility of Luosto. If you would like to try some cross country or salom skiing, equipment is available for hire (local charges apply). Optional excursions are available today at an additional charge, including snowmobile safaris and a husky farm visit. A buffet lunch and dinner will be served in your allocated restaurant. Day 4: We resume our search of the elusive Father Christmas. Surely today we will meet hom personally, as he knows the great lengths we have gone to find him. Travelling over the prepared tracks, snowmobiles, husky dogs & reindeer, will guide the way until we find Sant'a secret home. As we meet Father Christmas in person, children will be thrilled to receive their gift and Santa will enjoy reading their letters. Lunch will be provided and a farewell dinner will be available on our return to Luosto. Day 5: A choice of activities are offered for your final morning here in Luosto. Join in our mini snow games where you can try your hand at our tug of war competitions. Alternatively, ice skating to Christmas musical accompaniment, simply enjoy the pleasure of tobogganing or relax and enjoy the resort facilities. Lunch will be taken in Luosto and there will be the opportunity to buy souvenirs of Lapland before transferring back for return flight to the United Kingdom. Manchester flight on the 28th November & 05th December is via Gatwick. Manchester flight on the 12th December is via Birmingham. Free Souvenir DVD - As a special memory of your visit to Lapland yo will receive a free souvenir DVD (one per booking) consisting of general footage of Lapland. The highlight will be footage of your personal visit to Santa. Free Souvenir CD - Throughout your stay, you and your children will have the opportunity to sing along to our own very special song 'In Search Of Santa and his elves'.
