It's time to go in Search of Santa as we fly from our chosen airport directly to Rovaniemi. Breakfast will be served during the flight and where possible aircraft with on board video entertainment will be provided. Where airlines on board crew co-operate there will be a traditional Christmas sing a long. Following our arrival in Lapland we will transfer to the resort of Suomu where accommodation will be provided in cabins or rooms according to your choice. Late afternoon and early evening following the issue of your warm overclothing and boots to protect you from the cold one joins in some simple snow games, tobogganing tug of war, snowmobiling etc. A buffet style dinner will be provided for all with additional childrens favourites (such as hamburgers, chicken nuggets etc) surely on the menu.
Day 2: Following a substantial breakfast it's now time to locate Santa Claus and we undertake an early morning departure by skidoo and sleigh directly from the hotel to a secret location where a host of activities await. Here one finds reindeers, huskies and the opportunity for snowmobiling, plus other snow based activities and of course Santa Claus, families will have the opportunity to meet the great man himself and discuss their Christmas wishes. Lunch will be taken back at Suomu. This afternoon we will depart back to Rovaniemi being aware that we still have the pleasure of visiting Santa Park a small theme park located underground close to the Arctic Circle shopping centre where a selection of Lapland souvenirs may be purchased, prior to your return to the United Kingdom. Your meals at Suomu:Whether you choose cabins or our new hotel please note that all meals are taken in the restaurant of the new Arctic Circle Hotel. All meals are taken in buffet style and will feature additional children's favourites such as burgers, chips, chicken nuggets etc.in addition to the normal range of adult choices. Children may eat from either the adult or childrens selections. The Restaurant in the Arctic Circle Hotel is non-smoking.
