It's very natural for children to dream about meeting the real Santa Claus. Often in association with this wish will be thoughts of visiting one of Santa's Toy workshops where it is possible to see some of the elves preparing for Christmastide, indeed perhaps working on the very present they so desire. Your day begins with a flight from your local airport to Kittila in the heart of Lapland. Breakfast will be served during your outward flight and, where possible, aircraft with on-board video entertainment facilities will be used. Also, where airlines and crew co-operate, there will be a traditional Christmas sing-a-long. On arrival all members of the group will be equipped with warm over clothing and boots to protect against the cold, and soon you will be departing by coach from Kittila Airport to find that elusive gentlemen Santa Claus. We will seek advise from the elves as to Santa's location today, but we do know that he will be at one of his homes in this snowy region or perhaps supervising his elves as they make detailed preparations in one of his many toy workshops.

Here in this winter wonderland a day filled with snow-based activities awaits you. There are rides with the huskies and Santa's very own reindeer. Then why not try the fun of skidoo driving which is available for young and old, or enjoy the simple pleasures of tobogganing and the like.

Here in this exclusive setting you will enjoy a meal which, though simple in nature, will nevertheless be very tasty indeed in this environment. A sample menu would be something in the order of hot soup, baked potatoes (with choice of meat or vegetarian filling) and a dessert of pancakes and jam.

Naturally there is the opportunity to visit with Santa who will be happy to meet individual families during their stay, and of course he is sure to have gifts for all children aged 2-11 inclusive. Whether you visit Santa's Toy Workshop at the beginning or end of your day this is sure to be a special highlight. Imagine the pleasure of seeing one of Santa's own workshops with elves making the final preparations for the Christmas season, certainly creating a most wonderful atmosphere in those special advent days. Transportation between Santa's home and workshop will be by coach enabling all participants the opportunity to warm up between venues.

As the evening hours beckon and it's time to leave our Arctic Homeland there will be long and happy memories of this exceptional day. During your inbound flight, dinner will be served.
