Itinerary:
Day 1
It’s time for our Search of Santa and we will depart from our chosen
airport directly to Rovaniemi. Following our arrival in Lapland we have to
find the Arctic Express which is known in Lapland as Santa’s very own
train. This train is powered by steam. As we slip through the Arctic Wilderness
we wonder what experiences might unfold before our very eyes. For sure this
is a very special train, full of surprises, but to a destination we surely
go . . . Upon arrival is Santa waiting? No, this is only the end of the line
and our experience continues. Further, further into the Arctic darkness we
will drive along roads where the only traffic we may encounter could be Santa’s
very own reindeer before arriving in Luosto, a small village known to be
one of Santa’s favourite locations. Here we will secure sustenance,
warm overclothing and boots on loan and beds in cabins or a small hotel.
Day 2
Following a substantial breakfast we are about to embark to find Santa Claus.
We will enjoy reindeer rides and husky rides and participate in snowmobiling
with snowmobiles for both children and adults alike. The conductor assured
us we would find Santa and we know that he never disappoints children who
have travelled so far to see him. The entire experience has been like a
dream.. Before we know it we are enjoying a last meal in Luosto before
returning to Rovaniemi for a return flight during which dinner will be
served.

Our new 1 night tour to Luosto is sure
to garner the imagination as we board our steam train, The Arctic Express in
search of Santa Claus. One can just picture the excitement as we embark. Certainly
the onboard conductor will be checking the validity of our tickets for this
unique experience. Indeed we can be certain the ticket will not be magically
affected and simply crumble into dust or face distruction in some manner for
without a ticket er cannot remain onboard. Provided all is well we know that
the Arctic Express will bring us well on our way to finding Father Christmas.
